The summer showcase season is officially underway, bringing with it a week packed with announcements, trailers and (cue the Xbox voice over) world premieres across the gaming industry.
One of the first major events of the week was The MIX Summer Showcase, which featured a number of upcoming horror titles including BrokenLore: DON’T LIE, Cordura and several other indie horror projects.
Among the games appearing during the showcase was Lucid Falls, the upcoming psychological horror title from Eldamar Studio that we previously covered following its appearance at Day of the Devs last December.

Lucid Falls places players inside a surreal lucid dream where reality itself can be manipulated. Players will alter gravity, space and time to navigate its nightmarish environments, uncover hidden paths and solve environmental puzzles while attempting to survive the horrors lurking within them.
The new trailer largely focuses on the game’s visuals and dreamlike atmosphere, showcasing more of the Unreal Engine-powered environments that first drew attention to the project last year. However, the trailer concludes with a brief glimpse at in-development gameplay, offering a first look at some of the game’s combat.
During this gameplay tease, players can be seen wielding weapons including a crossbow and a mace while confronting hostile creatures. The footage also shows off some of the reality-bending mechanics that will play a central role throughout the experience, including the ability to manipulate time and gravity.

“We’re excited to immerse people in the dark, dreamlike atmosphere of Lucid Falls once more with this new trailer,” said Yurii Radkevych, Creative Director at Eldamar Studio. “We’re looking forward to diving in deeper in the future and we hope the little snippets of gameplay we’ve teased in this new trailer will tide you over until we are ready to share more.”
Lucid Falls is currently in development and can be wishlisted on Steam. Watch the new trailer below:
