The Outlast Trials has kicked off the Advent of Bogomolova event, offering players new MK challenges, exclusive rewards, and limited-time trials centering around the newest prime asset.
The event began on Tuesday, 10th February, introducing Liliya as a secondary prime asset on select trials. We’ve had this variator for other prime assets before, but Liliya should make a really terrifying edition as she’s bringing all her mannequins with her.
The secondary objective in the trials is Collect the Amulets, where you’ll steal amulets from Liliya’s mannequins throughout the map.
By playing the special event trials, you can earn rewards in the new event catalogue, featuring two outfits, items for your sleep room, a player icon and border, and a poster.
This limited-time event will run until 10th March, so there’s plenty of time to jump in.
Two New MK Challenges
Alongside the event, Red Barrels has added two brand-new MK challenges:
Eliminate the Legacy – Set on the Suburbs map with Franco as the prime asset, this challenge tasks players with throwing hearts at matching signs to progress through different sections of the map.
Flatten the Foreman – Set in the main floor of the Toy Factory map with Mother Gooseberry as the prime asset, you need to find four keys scattered around the factory. You’ll find microwave triggers around the map, which are needed to unlock doors to the different rooms where the keys are. A really cool feature of this trial is that there’s a running timer whilst you’re finding the keys (3.5 minutes on introductory difficulty, and 1.5 minutes on psychosurgery). Every time the timer runs out, it will reset and increase the “difficulty level” on the trial.
Upcoming Routine Therapies
After the Advent of Bogomolova event ends on March 10th, we’ll then get two new routine therapies, which are:
Deadlock – “The Trial is under full lockdown. You are issued two lockpicks to progress. Active surveillance cameras will administer shocks if detected.”
Burnout – “Locate heat sources to maintain warmth – but extinguishing them is required to progress. Choose carefully.”
2 Year Anniversary
That’s not all in this update. The game is celebrating its two year anniversary (I cannot believe the game’s only been out for 2 years) with some exclusive rewards that you’ll earn by completing a special set of tasks. These items will be earnable until March 24th.
