Quarantine Zone: The Last Check has just received a surprise crossover with one of horror gaming’s biggest names, and it brings some very familiar faces along with it.
Out today as part of a free update, Dead by Daylight’s original survivors Dwight Fairfield, Meg Thomas, Claudette Morel, and Jake Park have reached the zombie checkpoint in the newly released Quarantine Zone: The Last Check.
Dead by Daylight’s OG Survivors Join the Checkpoint
The OG survivor squad has found itself facing a very different kind of horror. In Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, the four characters appear as part of the normal survivor rotation, showing up at your checkpoint like any other civilian, but if you spot any signs of infection, you might have to make the impossible decision to liquidate your favourite survivor.

The crossover content is included automatically for all players at no extra cost. However, there’s one important thing to note: the Dead by Daylight survivors will only appear in new save files for now. Players continuing an existing playthrough won’t encounter Dwight, Meg, Claudette, or Jake just yet. The developers have confirmed that an update allowing these characters to appear in existing saves is coming soon.
Steam Bundle Discounts Available
To celebrate the collaboration, a Dead by Daylight x Quarantine Zone Steam bundle is now live. Players who already own Dead by Daylight can get an additional 10% off Quarantine Zone, stacking on top of the game’s current 10% launch discount.
Quarantine Zone: The Last Check Is Out Now
Quarantine Zone: The Last Check officially launched on January 12, 2026, and is available on Steam and included with PC Game Pass from day one, giving subscribers with the appropriate plan immediate access to the full game at launch.
In the game, you’re put in charge of a collapsing checkpoint, tasked with inspecting survivors, detecting infections, managing resources, and making morally questionable decisions under constant pressure.
