Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is out now on PC via Steam, and it’s also available day one on PC Game Pass, throwing players into the middle of a collapsing city where one wrong decision could doom an entire survivor camp.
Instead of fighting on the front lines like a typical zombie game, you’re put in charge of a critical checkpoint, responsible for deciding who gets through the gates and who gets left behind as a deadly infection spreads.

Screen Survivors and Stop the Infection
Survivors arrive at your checkpoint in growing numbers, and it’s up to you to inspect each one using a mix of high-tech screening tools and your own instincts.
You’ll need to look out for:
- Physical signs of infection, such as bite marks or blood-red eyes
- Symptoms like abnormally high temperatures, elevated heart rate, strange reflexes, and more
- Rare collectibles
- And other hidden warning signs that aren’t always obvious at first glance
Once inspected, survivors can be sent to different areas of the compound. Healthy individuals can be cleared and moved to the living block, while suspicious cases may be placed in quarantine for further testing. Anyone confirmed to be infected, however, won’t be making it inside. And well, let’s just say they’ve got a fiery fate in store for them.

Manage Resources and Defend the Checkpoint
Letting people in is only part of the challenge. As your survivor population grows, you’ll also need to manage essential resources, including, power, food and medicine
Shortages can quickly cause internal problems, while external threats continue to rise. When outbreaks occur or the infected start pushing the perimeter, you’ll be able to deploy armed drones to defend the compound and stop breaches before they spiral out of control.
Upgrading and expanding your base unlocks new tools, better defences, and weapon upgrades, giving you more ways to survive as the situation worsens.
