Developer Camel 101 and publisher Wired Productions have announced that their Lovecraft-inspired survival FPS Beneath will launch on PC via Steam on October 27, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S releases on October 28.
Developed by Camel 101, a micro-studio founded by brothers Bruno and Ricardo, Beneath blends survival horror with old-school shooter design. The studio previously created the horror titles Those Who Remain and Syndrome.

Players step into the role of Noah Quinn, a seasoned diver whose expedition into the deep sea spirals into chaos after uncovering an ancient evil. Trapped beneath the ocean with dwindling supplies, Noah must survive both Lovecraftian monstrosities and aggressive soldiers while unravelling a conspiracy linked to the shadowy Omnium Corporation.
Ammo scarcity, punishing combat, and creeping insanity are central to Beneath’s 10+ hour single-player campaign. Players can upgrade weapons, use environmental hazards to their advantage, and piece together the story through scattered logs and survivor accounts found across sunken research stations.
A free demo for Beneath is available now on Steam, giving players a taste of its retro-inspired gameplay and oceanic horror ahead of release. The game will be priced at £13.59 / €16.59 / $16.59 at launch, including a 15% discount for a limited time.
Beneath launches October 27 on PC and October 28 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
