Blumhouse Games and Perfect Garbage’s upcoming horror farming game Grave Seasons has been delayed until March 9th, 2027. Originally slated for Fall 2026, the news of the delay comes via the game’s Steam page and Discord.

The main holdup is porting the game, with the post acknowledging that it’s the team’s “first main title” to come to consoles. The game is launching across Steam, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Switch. As such, while the game is “content complete”, Perfect Garbage aren’t quite ready to release with the current state of optimisation for platforms such as the Switch. That being said, the studio is now working with a porting partner to ensure the Spring launch is seamless across all platforms.

Grave Seasons is a narrative farming simulator where one townsperson is also a supernatural serial killer. What makes the game special is that this serial killer is chosen at random from a pool of candidates, with each killer featuring their own distinct campaign and murder targets. As a farmer in town, you’ll have one year to try and protect your neighbours from future murders and figure out the truth behind the killer.

Whilst waiting a bit longer for Grave Seasons, fans of the ever-growing farming subgenre can check out last month’s Welcome to Elderfield, an eldritch horror farming simulator set in a town full to the brim of anomalies. Or if you prefer first-person, you could hop into the demo for We Harvest Shadows, an upcoming narrative game set in a remote farm in the Appalachian wilderness.
